The School District of Indian River County has a FREE mobile app. We're committed to bringing our families and community members the information they need, when they need it. With the new SDIRC mobile app, you can follow your child's school news, check lunchroom menus, find school contact information, receive important up-to-date notifications about events, news, safety information, and more! You’ll also find links to some of the most popular resources making it even easier to access them from your mobile device.
Download the App
The free app is available for both Apple and Android. Simply go to your app store and search "SDIRC." Look for the SDIRC logo,
and click 'Install. It's that easy! The first time you open the app, you will be prompted to choose the schools you want to follow.
Subscribe to Schools
Subscribing to a school will provide you with current news, events, and notifications from that school. If you want to change this later, from the mobile app home screen, click
Settings ->
Select Schools and then select the schools you want to follow, or deselect schools you no longer want to follow. That's it!
Push Notifications
The new SDIRC app is just one more way to get important messages about events, news, safety information, and important notifications. Make sure you have enabled 'Push Notifications' for the app, and when we send district-wide information about school delays, important dates, or weather information, you'll get it right on your phone.
Current News
Looking for the latest news from the District or your child's school? From the home page click '
News' to read the latest story. You'll also receive notifications of important news as soon as it's posted to our website. You can even share the article on your social media.
View Events
Need to know when the next Board Meeting or Early Release day is? From the home page click '
Events' to see a list of upcoming events for the District and the schools you are subscribed to. You can click on the event to get further details or to add it to your personal calendar.
School Information
Whether you need a school's phone number or want to see a map with all our schools, we've got you covered! For school information, select '
Schools' from the home page of the app. Click on the school to see all its contact information as
well as links to its website and any social media accounts it has.
