SRHS Model UN Club is so incredibly thankful and grateful to receive a generous donation from No. 1 China supporting our school's participation in the Miami Dade Model UN Conference at the end of February.
We couldn't even consider this without their support.
Thank you No.1 China!

SRHS is thrilled to celebrate Aleah Hilliard for earning a spot in the 2026 FMEA All-State SSAA Chorus! Last week, Aleah performed in Tampa with this prestigious ensemble—a remarkable accomplishment considering only 600 students are chosen from over 12,000 chorus students statewide. We are incredibly proud of Aleah, who stands out as the only Sebastian River High School music student to achieve this honor this year.

Forty of Mr. Anderson's Aerospace Technology Students visited two post-secondary schools on Thursday, Dec. 11.
The visits started with Epic Flight Academy's Aircraft Mechanic Program, a two-year program/ trade school. The second stop of our trip was at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach.
While visiting the schools, students learned of opportunities they could pursue after high school. Many aviation careers were discussed, ranging from Aircraft Mechanics, Pilots, Air Traffic Control, Aviation Engineering, Meteorology, and Aviation Business Degrees. Students walked away with great insights into potential future career paths.

Aerospace Technology Students from SRHS were provided an opportunity to experience flying in vintage aircraft through the EAA Chapter 99 Young Eagles Event on Saturday, Nov. 8. The event took place at the New Hibiscus Airpark located off of West Route 60. Student families enjoyed a pancake breakfast while waiting for their opportunity to soar. While at breakfast, student families had an opportunity to talk with pilots from around the state that had flown in for the event.
Our own Mrs. Pinkney and her son Quinn came out to the event. Kenny Hulse, son of Katie Hulse, also came out and was the recipient of one of two raffle prizes. He gets to go for a Glider Plane ride sponsored by the Treasure Coast Soaring Club which calls this airfield home. We also had Rianah Pagdanganan, from Mr. Anderson's year 3 class, there to fly a drone to capture images and video of the event. A huge shout out and Thank You to Chapter 99 of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) for putting together the second Young Eagles event of the school year.

This week at Sebastian River High School, student tour guides present the Anne Frank Traveling Exhibit, hosted by the Institute For Holocaust Education, to fellow students. During this week, all 10th-grade World History students will experience this exhibit, which focuses on the life experiences of Anne Frank as she grew up being forced to hide from Nazi Germany, as Adolph Hitler's forces began expanding across Europe. The exhibit immerses viewers in Anne Frank's family life before, during, and after the war as it traces the impact of Nazi persecution and war on one particular family.
