Our 1st grade team is all about collaboration! Today’s planning focused on high-yield strategies, student work samples, and data—all with one goal: increasing student success. 🌟

Ms. Davidson’s 5th grade class is on a mission—spotting quotes relevant to the narrative and applying their inferencing skills to reveal the hidden meaning. #CriticalThinking #ReadingRocks

Hands-on learning in action! 🎉
Ms. Dribben introduced her Kindergarteners to the UFLI magnetic boards today—building big reading skills with little letters.

Our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade teams rocked their data chats today—collaborating to pinpoint student support needs and make sure every Panther is set up for success! 💪📊📚

Problem-solving partners at work 👏
Mr. Daulby’s crew worked through multiplication word problems during today’s scoot activity. Ask your student to share one strategy they used to recall their facts!

Mrs. Porter’s 4th graders put their heads together 🤝➕➗✖️➖ working collaboratively to tackle their math review. Teamwork makes those tricky problems a little less tricky!

Ms. Reed’s 3rd graders are sharpening their detective skills 🔎📚 — digging into their texts to find evidence that supports the theme of the story. Ask your Panther what theme they uncovered today!

Ms. Srigley’s 6th grade scientists brought Earth’s processes to life today! 🌎 Students demonstrated weathering, erosion, and deposition right in the classroom—showing how rocks and landforms are shaped over time. 🏔️💨🌊

Ms. Napier’s and Ms. Gray’s 2nd graders wrapped up their Tall Tale unit with a giant-sized celebration worthy of Paul Bunyan himself! 🪵🥞🥓 Flapjacks and bacon from the story fueled their learning, and then they became scientists—observing changes in matter as they made frozen ice lanterns. Big stories, big fun, big learning! ✨❄️
What was your Panther's favorite tall tale? Tell us below! ⬇️

Ms. Hatcher’s 4th graders put on their detective hats—hunting for character traits and tracking down the text evidence to prove it! 🕵️

Not even the rain could keep our Panther families away from our annual PTA Welcome Back Meeting & Pep Rally! 🌟 A huge thank you to Jeremiah’s Ice for the sweet treats and to the VBHS cheerleaders for bringing the spirit. 💚🐾

Ms. Zehr’s 1st graders were rocking the tie-dye for dress down day—our Panthers never disappoint! 💚🐾

We don’t know how she does it, but Ms. Hatcher always ends up twinning with her teammates! 👯♀️✨

Pep rally at 6:00 PM tonight! We can't wait to see you 🕺🏻

🎶 Ms. Palmer’s 2nd graders dove into Mozart today! Students listened to and analyzed the form of Rondo Alla Turca, discovering how the music repeats and changes along the way. 🐾✨

Ms. Davison’s 5th graders stepped into the shoes of different characters today! They practiced responding to scenarios by writing from unique perspectives—seeing the story through someone else’s eyes. 💚🐾
