Our School Advisory Council met tonight and discussed Florida Schools Recognition Funds—rewarding schools for success and growth! 🐾✨

Ms. Mosher’s 3rd grade scientists put their sweet skills to the test with a Skittles experiment! 🍬🔬 They investigated which liquid dissolves Skittles the fastest.

Ms. Davidson’s 5th grade class paraphrased the geographical features of the Maya civilization and then worked together to combine their ideas into one well-written summary paragraph.

Ms. Cade’s 3rd graders stayed on the move with a Scoot game to review for their Topic 2 math assessment—learning + movement = success!

Ms. Cade’s 3rd grade scientists tested how different surfaces affect how far a car will travel—discovering which surfaces create the most friction and which let the wheels roll the farthest. 🚗🧑‍🔬

Ms. Beals’ class loves when Ms. Mary comes to volunteer—her visits always make learning extra special!

Ms. McDonough’s 2nd graders took time today to honor and remember our 9/11 heroes. 🇺🇸❤️ This was part of our required instruction districtwide, as all students participated in lessons to ensure we never forget.

Mr. Daulby’s 4th graders stretched their math muscles today using the area model to multiply 1-digit numbers—breaking problems into parts to see the big picture! 👍

Ms. Dribben’s kindergarteners stayed busy during small group rotations today! Students painted their names, practiced in iReady, worked on name writing, wrote in their journals, and used whiteboards to build their skills.

Remembering September 11, 2001

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, the courage of first responders, and the resilience of a nation forever changed by the events of September 11, 2001.

In schools across our District, we take time to honor the significance of this day, ensuring our students understand the importance of unity, service, and compassion in the face of tragedy. As we reflect, we are reminded of the strength found in community and the enduring impact of coming together in support of one another.

We will never forget.
