2nd graders in Ms. Stranzin’s and Ms . Napier's class were busy preparing for the Greek Agora! Students shopped for supplies to make the goods they’ll be selling—true young entrepreneurs channeling their inner ancient Greeks! 🏺💰

National Principals Month 💜 Our front office celebrated Mr. Faust today — we “donut” know what we’d do without him! 🍩 We all wore our purple smile shirts in honor of his favorite color and his favorite reminder: Smile — it matters! 😄💜

Ms. Osborne’s 6th grade ELA students participated in a Socratic Seminar centered on their Amplify text about the cause of Yellow Fever and Dr. Walter Reed’s groundbreaking research. Students engaged in thoughtful discussion, citing evidence from the text, posing critical questions, and building on one another’s ideas — a true display of inquiry and academic dialogue in action!

4th grade wrapped up S/CORE Day with a royally fun Medieval Day! 🏰 Students took aim in archery, competed in jousting tournaments, and feasted like true knights with King Frank’s chicken for lunch! 👑⚔️ A day of learning, laughter, and a little bit of medieval magic!

From feathers to fur and scales to spots—Ms. Beal’s 3rd graders became zoologists in training! As a final project in their Animal Classification unit, they designed their very own new species with a mix of unique traits. The creativity was wild! 🐾🦎🦢
