In north county, SDIRC offers an International Baccalaureate Program K-12 pathway. Begin your IB journey at Liberty Magnet, continue to Sebastian River Middle School, and earn your IB Diploma from Sebastian River High School.
Pelican Island Elementary School will be enrolling kindergarten, first, and sixth grade students in the 2025-2026 school year, as the first Classical K-8 Choice School in the School District of Indian River County! Additionally, Fellsmere Elementary, Osceola Magnet, and Rosewood Magnet are adding 6th grade for the 2025-2026 school year and will become K-8 schools over the next three years.
Three of our current elementary schools are Magnet Schools: Liberty Magnet, Osceola Magnet, and Rosewood Magnet. Available seats are offered through the choice application and lottery process. Siblings of current students must apply through the Focus Parent Portal SDIRC School Choice application.
All other county schools are available through the SDIRC School Choice application if there are seats available for the 25-26 school year.
