Vero Beach, FL, December 5, 2023– We are pleased to invite our SDIRC families and community members to the 2023 State of the District Gala and Superintendent’s Art Gallery at the Vero Beach Museum of Art (VBMA) on December 6, 2023.  The State of the District Gala will begin welcoming guests at 11:30 a.m. featuring a string quartet of musicians from Vero Beach High School.  The State of the District presentation by Superintendent David K. Moore, Ed. D. will begin promptly at 12 p.m.  During the gala, enjoy performances by Sebastian River High School’s Encore Choir.  The Vero Beach High School Air Force Junior ROTC will be presenting the colors.   Following the presentation, enjoy appetizers sponsored by iThink Financial, and stroll through the atrium of curated student artwork to vote for the Community Choice Art Winner.  Following the Gala, enjoy free admission to the museum courtesy of VBMA.

Beginning at 5 p.m. at the Vero Beach Museum of Art, join us for the Superintendent’s Art Gallery featuring student work from grades pre-K through 12.  Awards ceremonies will take place at 5:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. to recognize our talented student artists and art teachers throughout our district.
