Vero Beach, FL, November 4, 2021– The School District of Indian River County is proud to announce their 2022 Assistant Principal of the Year, Craig Kinsley, Assistant Principal at Oslo Middle School.
Craig Kinsley is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University who joined the School District of Indian River County in 1999, as a 6th grade World Cultures teacher at Oslo Middle School. Throughout his career in our school district, Mr. Kinsley has served as a team leader at Oslo Middle, an Assistant Principal at Sebastian River High School for 6 years, an Assistant Principal at Gifford Middle School for 5 years and has been an Assistant Principal at Oslo Middle School for the past 6 years, working hard to inspire and assist the students and staff each day.
Along with his dedication to our school district, Mr. Kinsley is the proud husband to Tracey Kinsley, who is the Chief Communications Officer at The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County. Together, their passion for learning has influenced their five children to pursue their goals and career aspirations. Justin and Rebecca are recent college graduates who have begun their careers as a Chemist and as a RN, Katie and Lauren Riley who are actively pursuing their bachelor’s degrees, and Lauren Danielle who is a senior at Sebastian River High School working hard on college applications.
SDIRC Superintendent Dr. Moore stated, “Mr. Kinsley is the kind of leader who grows and supports other leaders, setting them up for success in their futures. He is known for quickly finding solutions to challenges and shapes a positive climate and culture at Oslo Middle School.”
Dr. Eddie Robinson, Principal of Oslo Middle School added, “Mr. Kinsley, has always shown actions that inspire others to dream more, learn more, and become more. He truly cares about the students and people of Oslo Middle School.”
