Take online college classes at UF that count for both high school and college credit. Students get free tuition and books.

Student must be a junior or senior with a 3.5 unweighted GPA, 1100 SAT, 22 ACT, or 1130 PSAT score.

To enroll in academic coursework, students must successfully complete an entry-level examination as required by Section 1008.30, Florida Statutes. For the purpose of this agreement, ACT®, SAT®, and/or P.E.R.T. scores are acceptable.*†

*No testing  required for students who successfully completed SLS 1101 during summer 2020 or fall 2020.

Considerations per Florida State Statute 1007.271:

  • Students who are eligible for dual enrollment pursuant to this section may enroll in dual enrollment courses conducted during school hours, after school hours, and during the summer term. However, if the student is projected to graduate from high school before the scheduled completion date of a postsecondary course, the student may not register for that course through dual enrollment
  • To participate in the dual enrollment program, an eligible home education secondary student must:
    • Provide proof of enrollment in a home education program pursuant to s. 1002.41.
    • Be responsible for his or her own transportation unless provided for in the articulation agreement.
    • Sign a home education articulation agreement pursuant to paragraph (b)
  • A student enrolled as a dual enrollment student is exempt from the payment of registration, tuition, and laboratory fees.
  • School districts and Florida College System institutions must weigh dual enrollment courses the same as advanced placement, International Baccalaureate, and Advanced International Certificate of Education courses when grade-point averages are calculated.
