The District will host an informational session on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 5:30 PM at 6500 57th Street (District Office) to provide updates on the future of the current Rosewood Magnet School campus.
As part of a planned transition, Rosewood Magnet School will relocate next school year to the Storm Grove Middle School campus, serving students in a K-5 configuration while retaining the Rosewood Magnet School name. This transition creates an opportunity to reimagine the use of the existing Rosewood facility.
During the session, District leaders will share programmatic concepts for the site, including a proposed drop-in school model designed to support homeschool families. This model is being explored as a flexible, student-centered option that may function similarly to a cooperative or microschool environment.
In addition, attendees will receive information about the process for renaming the current facility. The District will outline next steps and opportunities for stakeholder engagement as part of this process.
