Night of the Arts

VERO BEACH, FL (March 8, 2026) – Gifford Middle School(GMS), located at 4530 28th Ct, Vero Beach, FL 32967, is proud to announce its GMS Night of the Arts on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 6–8 p.m. in the school courtyard. This free, community-centered event will highlight the creativity, skill, and energy of students across Gifford Middle School’s arts programs, providing families and community members the opportunity to experience music, visual arts, and performance in a vibrant, celebratory setting.

Attendees will enjoy performances from the GMS band, choir, orchestra, jazz band, and flag and cheer teams, all taking place in the outdoor courtyard. In addition, student-created visual artwork inspired by the renowned Florida Highwaymen will be on display, showcasing the school’s commitment to innovative arts programming.

“We are excited to provide students with a platform to express themselves, build confidence, and engage with the wider community through the arts,” said James Thimmer, Principal of Gifford Middle School. “As a STEAM school, the arts are central to offering a robust learning experience for our students, and this event highlights how creative expression complements academic growth.”

The GMS Night of the Arts is designed for current families, students, and community members. The event supports the district’s broader K–12 programmatic architecture, emphasizing choice, creativity, and lifelong engagement in the arts.

• Parking: Front and back school lots, with overflow at the Technical College

No RSVP is required for the main courtyard event. The school anticipates smooth parking and easy access for all attendees.
