The Sebastian River Middle School Choral Program is rapidly growing and offering more outstanding performance opportunities for our students. Student potential, co-operative learning and self-expression are cultivated on a daily basis in choir. SRMS has the largest graded choral curriculum of any Middle or High School on the Treasure Coast. We offer 3 separate choirs for our 160 singers: the 6th Grade Choir, Concert Choir (all 7th and 8th graders), and the SRMS Madrigal Singers (auditioned students from Concert Choir). Students participate in a wide variety of performances including Florida All-State Choir in Tampa, Solo and Ensemble Festival in Stuart, Music Performance Assessment and the Indian River State College Honor Choir. The Madrigal Singers traveled to Atlanta to participate in the Music in the Parks Festival hosted by Six Flags over Georgia, as well as a Choral Clinic with the music professors at Georgia State University in April 2016. This April they will be participating in a tour to Tampa/Clearwater, FL
