Parents and Student/Athletes
You must have a current Sports Physical (EL2) and Parent Permission (EL3) on file with the SGMS Athletic Department in order to participate in tryouts. The physical must be completed on the F.H.S.A.A. forms – EL2 and EL3
All non-traditional students (Home-Schooled, Charter School, Private School) must also have a completed GA7 verified by the I.R.C.S.D., in order to participate in tryouts.
Begin on TBD on the front field, 3:00 – 5:00 pm
All players must have the appropriate gear, ie: (eye gear, proper footwear, mouth piece, head gear, proper practice attire) in order to participate in tryouts.
The tryouts are closed to spectators and parents.

FHSAA Lacrosse Headgear Approved List
As a reminder, effective at the beginning of the 2018 sport season, during all interscholastic competition, all girls lacrosse field players are required to wear protective headgear that meets the current ASTM standard for women's lacrosse (ASTM 3137) set forth by US Lacrosse. Please note, in accordance with NFHS Girls Lacrosse rule 2-7-3 field players wearing headgear during competition shall only be allowed to wear headgear that meet the current ATSM standard for women's lacrosse and must be labeled accordingly and any headgear manufactured on or after January 1st, 2018 must be permanently labeled with the SEI certification mark.
Additionally, in accordance with FHSAA Administrative Procedure 188.8.131.52.1, all girls lacrosse field players are required to wear protective headgear that meets the current ASTM standard for women's lacrosse during all competition.
