staff stellar stingray sep 2017

Mrs. Caitlin Harris was recognized as Staff Stellar Stingray for the month of September during 6th grade lunch and was awarded: a certificate of recognition, Target gift certificate, balloon bouquet, and a PBS parking spot.

Mrs. Harris' nomination read: I would like to nominate Katie Harris for Staff Stellar Stingray.  Katie has worked tirelessly since the beginning of school to get the 6th grade World Cultures curriculum off the ground with a new textbook as well as new digital technology.  She has also been supporting the other teachers around her who are new to SGMS.  She is the one in 6th grade who keeps us on schedule and organized.  Katie is always available and willing to help when issues arise and always down to try new things.  Students love her class because she creates fun, active, hands on experiences to make world history come alive.  That is a stellar teacher in my opinion.

2nd nomination - I would like to nominate Caitlin Harris. I have been a teacher for quite some time and this is my 3rd school. Caitlin went over and above to make me feel welcomed and supported. We plan weekly, she is a wealth of knowledge, and she never says no or puts me off when I have questions. I have never felt this comfortable at a school so early in the year.

3rd nomination - I would like to nominate Caitlin Harris. Caitlin continues to go above and beyond every day to ensure I am successful. We plan weekly, she is a wealth of knowledge, and she never says no or puts me off when I have questions. There are not enough words that I can say about Caitlin and her acts of kindness.
