At its Business Meeting on August 9, the School Board directed Legal Counsel to work with the NAACP to draft a joint resolution seeking Partial Unitary Status on the Desegregation Order currently imposed on the School District.  Superintendent Rendell will be sharing the data compiled with the local NAACP representatives to continue the work of the District toward Unitary Status.  The Board looks forward to continuing its working with the NAACP to address outstanding issues associated with the court order.
