Indian River Academy partnered with local community members and School District Personnel to create a fun environment for our scholars to celebrate literacy! The goal of Literacy Week is to promote literacy and excellent reading habits in the students of Florida. This past week did you notice your scholars reading more frequently or with different reading habits? Perhaps using a flashlight or taking out the sleeping bags?

We would like to extend a big THANK YOU to all the community members, local businesses and district personnel that came out to help us make Literacy Week 2018 a HUGE success!

We encourage you to visit our facebook page and post your own pictures of your child celebrating literacy!!
