The Education Foundation of Indian River County, in partnership, with the School District of Indian River County presented the 25th Indian River Regional Science & Engineering Fair.
This year there was an extraordinary number of projects, Kindergarten through 12th grades, that demonstrated the application of the scientific method to solve real world problems. More than 500 children from 17 public and independent schools participated in the one day event at Gifford Middle School.
The success of the program is a result of the tremendous support of the community. Exploration and discovery are critical components to learning and to the future of our nation. This year’s judges noted that the ingenuity of the projects was unprecedented.
