Superintendent, Dr. Mark Rendell, will make a State of the School District presentation on Monday, May 2, 2016, at 6:00 pm in the Teacher Education Center (TEC) at the District office, located at 6500 – 57th Street, Vero Beach, 32967.
Dr. Rendell will use this opportunity to reflect upon successes of the past year, such as the district earning an “A” grade from the Florida Department of Education, being honored as a Pacesetter by the Campaign for Grade- Level Reading, and being placed on the College Board’s 6th Annual AP District Honor Roll.
Dr. Rendell’s presentation will also address areas where the District can improve, which include increasing graduation rates, curbing the student suspension rate, and closing the achievement gap.
“The goal of the presentation is not only to highlight our successes, but also share areas where we can improve”, said Dr. Rendell.
