Vero Beach, FL, November 6, 2024– The School District of Indian River County (SDIRC) is deeply appreciative of the overwhelming support shown by the community for the passage of the operating millage referendum on Tuesday evening. With 75% of voters in favor, the millage was approved with the highest approval percentage among Treasure Coast school districts with similar referendums on the ballot.

Superintendent Dr. David K. Moore stated, "We are thrilled by the tremendous response from our voters. This level of support demonstrates the trust and confidence our community has in the quality of education we provide. The approval of this millage ensures significant funding to support and enhance the essential operating needs of the district, including:
