Vero Beach, FL, April 2, 2024– The School District of Indian River County is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin McDonald as the newest member of the School Board, representing District 5.
Mr. McDonald brings with him a wealth of experience as the former Treasurer, President, and Chairman of the Geneva School, along with a deep commitment to educational excellence. As a dedicated community leader, he has consistently demonstrated a passion for ensuring every student receives a quality education and has the opportunity to thrive.
Superintendent, David K. Moore, Ed.D., stated, “We are thrilled to welcome Mr. McDonald to the School Board. We are confident that his background in education, dedication to our students, and his commitment to excellence will greatly benefit our district. In his new role, Mr. McDonald will collaborate with fellow board members, district administrators, educators, and community stakeholders to address the needs and priorities of our schools. His insights and perspective will be instrumental in shaping policies and initiatives that promote student success and foster a positive learning environment for all.
