Admission Requirements

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and should be academically, physically, and emotionally capable of meeting the essential tasks of the chosen program.

A high school diploma or its equivalent recognized by the U.S. Dept of Education may be required for some programs.

Students enrolling in a Post Secondary Adult Vocational (PSAV) program with 450 hours or more, are required to take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) test unless an exemption is met. (TABE Testing Info)

Practical Nursing program applicants are required to take a Health Education Systems Incorporated (HESI) exam.

Each program has its own admission requirements such as the Practical Nurse Program which requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and a score of 70 or higher on the HESI assessment.

Our mission includes serving all community members, therefore, all students are considered for admissions.

All career programs are clock-hour, TCCAE does not award credits.
