What is the 21st Century Community Learning Center Program?
Florida's 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program is a key component of the "No Child Left Behind Act" and is an opportunity for students and their families to continue to learn new skills and discover new abilities after the school day has ended. The focus of this program is to provide expanded academic enrichment opportunities for children attending Title 1 or Title 1 eligible schools. The 21st CCLC grant is authorized under Title IV, Part B, of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. Students are provided FREE USDA snacks prior to instruction.
