McKay Scholarship for Students with Disabilities: The School District of Indian River County is providing notice to all families that your child may be eligible to participate in the John M. McKay Scholarship for Students with Disabilities Program.  The scholarship program may offer other public or private school placement options.  Your child may be eligible if he/she meets the requirements of having an active IEP (Individualized Education Plan) from a public school and has been enrolled in a Florida public school for the 2004-2005 school year and was reported by the school district for funding during the preceding October and February student membership periods.

In order for a student to be eligible for all four payment periods, intent to participate in the John M. McKay Scholarships for Students with Disabilities Program must be declared by July 3, 2005.
