Congratulations to the Nursing Assistant students at Vero Beach High School for achieving 100% passing rate on the State of Florida Board of Nursing Industry certification exam. 

Each student took at two part examination in late May.  Part one of the exam tests knowledge in written form while part two tests the students’ skills in performing tasks in patient care. 

Students receive a minimum of 40 hours of clinical training at local health facilities in order to meet the requirements to sit for the state exam.  Instructors, Cindi Jorgensen and Cindy Livings, conducted a  pinning ceremony in the Performing Arts Center on June 1, 2011 to honor the students’ achievements.
